The world is full of options and choices. We are responsible for our choices. The choices we make in life can affect us either positively or negatively. Even the gospel of our Lord Jesus is not forced on anyone however we are encouraged to choose Jesus so that we can have eternal life.
As Women not everything is beneficial e.g In this world people have the right to smoke or drink alcohol (18 years +) but it’s not beneficial to the health, this is one of many examples. More so as Christian women there are limits to what we can do:
• If it is outside God’s will don’t do it!
• If it will hurt you or break another sister (Person) you probably shouldn’t do it!
1 Corinthians 10:23
“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.
Thank God for the Holy Spirit he tells us what and what not to do! It’s important to remain connected and obedient. Many times when he tells us stop talking unnecessarily, be in godly relationships, stay off social media or other entertainment we stubbornly ignore him. One of the things that led me into social media evangelism was because I was very active on it entertaining my flesh! I had to channel my social media presence into something beneficial. I list below 👇
10 THINGS BENEFICIAL TO A CHRISTIAN WOMAN
1. Reading the bible
2. Praying to God
3. Displaying the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22) in our speech and actions
4. Building a godly family (Training her children in the way of the Lord)
5. Investing in her calling
6. Practicing good hygiene and modesty in appearance
7. Supporting the needs of others if you have the resources
8. Volunteering in your local church/community
9. Maintain godly friendship to encourage one other (Iron sharpens Iron)
10. Staying Humble but also confident in the Lord
Let me just call your points the rules of life. Nobody wants death but we find ourselves living as if we are preparing for death – I mean eternal death. Rule number 3 particularly speaks volumes as women have a habit of breaking it a lot of times. Our speech needs to reflect life and pump life into others and not discord. And then there is the habit of referring to habits as weaknesses. That is one place the devil hides to keep us away from God. I love your views. God bless.
